*Who says eggs are bad for you? According to a recent study, overweight women who eat egg breakfasts lose twice as much weight as women who start their days with bagels. The protein in eggs increases satiety and decreases hunger, helping women eat fewer calories throughout the day. Enjoy an omelet or veggie frittata with 2-3 egg whites to every one yolk to keep the calories lower. Don't fry your dish in butter or oil, use cooking spray. And, if you like cheese, use it in moderation. Add some herbs or salsa to intensify the flavor of your breakfast.

Italian Omelet

*3 egg whites
*1 whole egg
*2 tablespoons sun-dried tomatoes
*1/4 large portabello mushroom
*cooking spray
*1/4 cup avocado

1) Beat eggs with splash of water until frothy.
2) Saute sun-dried tomatoes and mushroom in medium pan with cooking spray until tender.
3) Reduce heat, add eggs, cover and cook until eggs are fluffy (but not solid).
4) Add avocado and fold in half before serving.
