*True or False??
-Eating late at night will cause you to gain weight?
False: Eating late at night will not cause you to put on more weight. Weight gain occurs when you consume more calories than you expend. However, think about what people eat during late evening/nighttime--quick, easy, tasty foods like ice cream, cakes, cookies and chips. After a long, hard day, most people will opt for a piece of chocolate cream pie over a baked chicken breast. That pie is what causes weight gain.

-Skipping meals is a good way to lose weight?
False: When you skip a meal, you cause your metabolism to slow down because your body doesn't know the next time it will be fed. For this reason, eating small meals consistently throughout the day is a better option. Also, when you skip a meal, you will tend to overeat and overcompensate later in the day--which will lead to weight gain.
